Battlestar Galactica
Battlestar Galactica

The Cylons have managed to destroy the colonies of man and the last surviving humans are fleeing to Battlestar Galactica. Take the role of commander Adama and the rest of his crew in their attempt to escape the Cylon invaders and get to the legendary colony known as Earth. Things are not easy if you Cylon attack at any time, and there are many inmates to resolve conflict. Worst of all, some members of the crew Cylons are really willing to destroy it from within!
Battlestar Galactica is a board game based on the 2004 re-imagining of Battlestar Galactica sci-fi television. The Cylons – a race of cybernetic bio-constructs created by the settlers of man – rebelled and destroyed the settlements of man. Survivors of the man are now in the race, trying to escape the Cylon invaders and hope to reach the legendary Earth colony. Refugee protection of human Battlestar Galactica is apparently the last surviving ship of the fleet Colonial.
In the board game, you play the main characters in the television series. You can be the commander Adama and assume the role of the Admiral. Or, you can play the role of Viper pilots enthusiastic "Apollo" Adama and Kara "Starbuck" Thrace. Or you can get policies and assume the role of President Laura Roslin and Dr. Gaius Baltar. Each character has specific abilities, advantages and disadvantages, all you have to drive with caution if evading the Cylons and finding Earth.
Battlestar Galactica is a game of cooperative society. Everyone should use their skills and work together to escape the Cylons and get to safety. A problem if … some of the players are in Cylons disguise and trying to sabotage his mission. Worse still, when you are halfway to their destination, the crew may prove to be previously loyal Cylon sleeper agents and will now concentrate its efforts on the destruction of the Galactica and the human fleet.
At the beginning of the game, each player chooses the character they play. The characters have different abilities and skills. For example, Kara Thrace has access to management skills, tactical and piloting. Each character has a skill set, such as chief engineer Galen Tyrol be able to make repairs a free action. However, each character has a negative competence. Commander Adama emotional attachment to your computer prevents him from sending more crew Brig. There are a couple of special items available. The head of the highest political rank is the president, and has access to powerful cards quorum and may take some decisions on their own. The highest ranking officer is Admiral, and has control over tactical nuclear weapons and decide Galactica where human fleet travel a.
Each player receives a secret loyalty card, informing whether a human or a Cylon, so if you must be to help drain Galactica or tries to sabotage the mission. Things start to get interesting if the president or the admiral is a Cylon in Disguise! In the beginning, the Cylons are concealed humans, and attempt to sabotage the mission secret. However, if you start acting too suspicious, the other players might suspect and put in the brig. Or they may reveal their true allegiance and start controlling the Cylon fleet to attack humans!
The objective main game is to keep operating and maintaining critical levels Galactica "resources" such as food, fuel, morality and population in search of Earth. Every action you take work to achieve this goal, whether to use weapons to shoot the Cylon ship vessels, confine suspects a traitor, the launch of its fighters Viper, or even drive your own Viper. No. But a "crisis" can occur when you take a blow their operations. These crises are events that occur during your trip, and are essentially different subplots in the series television. "Pass," a crisis of skills could be rewarded with more resources and a "no" can lead to a damaged vessel or crew members in nursing. Each proficiency test will be a number of skills that can help "move" the same thing. Characters with the skills they can use their card to help, but hides a treacherous Cylon can use cards of a different type of capacity sabotage the effort and make "no" to the crisis!
More important are two possible effects that come with each new crisis of the card. Each card crisis may be a Cylon "action" if it is a new Cylon basestar that appears near you, or invasive basestar version, or try to attack the invading civilian vessels or board Galactica. The results are generally ugly, and range sections of the damaged ship, crew Cylon Centurion and wounded on board and take control of the ship. Each card crisis may also have a "jump", ie, the fleet becomes a step further flights bound for a new planet on its way to Earth. This is crucial because the only way for man to win the game is to jump far enough to achieve security. Of course, players Cylons do not want that to happen.
Battlestar Galactica is a very interesting game that involves a lot strategic planning (in addition to a bluff if you play a Cylon in disguise). The cooperative effort to escape the Cylons and achieve Safe Harbor is very attractive, especially if they have seen television series and know the characters. The game is not too difficult to learn, and the amount of options and random events guarantee that no two games are the same. A great game for all levels. But the journey does not end there, things get even more interesting when the Battlestar Pegasus appears!

What is the first episode of Battlestar Galactica?
I got just what is supposed to be the season 1 episode 1, called "33." But this episode starts with a "previously on Battlestar Galactica" segment, with the dialogue as "… Cylon attack launched From this … Once we are at war … there may be Cylon agents who live among us … agents could bed programmed to perfectly imitate human beings before that activation. "What was the first real episode, then?" When all this "before" things go?
33 is the first episode of the series, but the story begins in the miniseries that aired in 2003. Here is a link to the summary of the wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battlestar_Galactica_ (TV_miniseries) Hope this clears something.
